Guy Hand is the Managing Editor of Edible Idaho. He is an award winning writer, photographer, videographer and public radio producer with an emphasis on food and farming. In 2011, Hand worked on a year-long project called “The Year of Idaho Food,” including a weekly NPR program called “Edible Idaho” and an accompanying print piece published for the Boise Weekly on food and agriculture in the state of Idaho. That series won several awards, including a regional Edward R. Murrow Award, all while also being the Idaho Statesman’s restaurant critic for three years. Hand has also written about food and agriculture for publications like the L.A. Times, Sierra, Audubon and other publications. Follow him on Instagram.
