Sustainable Ag Speaker Series with Hunga Dunga Brewing
Vandal Brand Meats, presented by CALS Dean Michael Parella University of Idaho’s current meat science laboratory is home to Vandal Brand Meats, a multi-functional meat processing facility located on the Moscow campus. In addition to being used for teaching, research and outreach, Vandal Brand Meats provides USDA inspected meat processing for small-scale livestock producers across the Palouse. Listen in on a conversation with Michael Parrella, Dean of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, to learn about the Vandal Brand Meats mission, the college’s initiative to build a new Agri Beef Meat Science and Innovation Center Honoring Ron Richard, and Vandal Brand Meats’ local livestock processing policies and processes.
