Susan H. Swetnam

Susan H. Swetnam has been writing about food, culture, and regional literature for more than thirty years.  Her articles have appeared in a variety of national and regional magazines, including Gourmet, and in anthologies, including the Greenwood Press’s American Regional Cultures volume on the Rocky Mountain region.  She was lead scholar for the Idaho Humanities Council’s food-centric Key Ingredients Smithsonian exhibit project.  A retired English professor, second-act licensed massage therapist, and prolific writer, she is the author of nine books, the latest of which is in the Mystery’s Shadow: Reflections on Caring for the Elderly and Dying (Liturgical Press, June 2019).
