- 1½–2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup oil
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ¼ cup ground almonds (my addition to Judy’s recipe; toasts nicely)
Measure dry ingredients and mix in 9-inch pie pan. Mix oil and milk together, and add to flour mixture with a fork. With your hands, press against the sides of the pan and shape the edges.
