Easy Pie Crust

Measure dry ingredients and mix in 9-inch pie pan. Mix oil and milk together, and add to flour mixture with a fork. With your hands, press against the sides of the pan and shape the edges.


  • 1½–2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ cup ground almonds (my addition to Judy’s recipe; toasts nicely)
