Potato Harvest at Pokey Creek Farm with The Moscow Co-Op Crop Mob

A crop mob is a family-friendly volunteering event where community members gather to pitch in at a small, local farm, to help with the harvest! You'll want to bring your gardening gear — gloves, hiking shoes, and clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty are a big plus! With your help they can continue to provide delicious, healthy, locally-grown food. That's the kind of collective action Co-ops are all about! This season, they are lending our hands in cooperation to Pokey Creek Farm — a small farmstead in Santa, Idaho, which supplies your Co-op with potatoes, garlic, and other hardy root vegetables. Come help pick potatoes, and stick around for lunch! A meal will be provided free of charge. Dress appropriately for outdoor activity! You'll want close-toed shoes suitable for standing and walking, as well as ample sun protection and plenty of water.
