Annual Empty Bowls with Idaho Foodbank

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, The Idaho Foodbank hosts Empty Bowls in downtown Boise on the Grove Plaza. Throughout the year, the Idaho Foodbank collects handcrafted and hand-painted bowls from professional and amateur artisans, students and studios. The event offers the opportunity to select a unique bowl from thousands and enjoy a hot bowl of soup generously donated by one of several of Boise's finest local restaurants. The funds raised by this event helps to provide food assistance to those badly in need this winter.
